EA briefing note – July 2026
The Environment Agency has issued a briefing note regarding the odour complaints from the FCC site at Sutton Courtenay. This does not cover the fire at the site on Sunday 9th August 2026.

Sutton Courtenay Lesser Bridge Parapet Reconstruction
Oxfordshire County Council is planning to reconstruct the damaged parapet and spandrel wall of Sutton Courtenay Lesser bridge which carries the Abingdon Road over a flood relief channel. These works are planned to start 12th August 2026 and are anticipated to last approximately 3 weeks.
