Appleford Road will be closed from 7pm on Saturday 24th October until 6am on Sunday 25th October 2026.

Oxfordshire County Council has advised us of the following road closure.
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984
Notice is hereby given that Oxfordshire County Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, temporarily imposes the following restriction:
Nature of Restriction: Road Closure
Location: Main Road, Appleford, Abingdon, Oxfordshire (Outside Bridge Farm House)
Reason: Enabling works required prior to stat diversions. being carried out by GRAHAM.
Duration: Starting on 24/10/2026 19:00
The anticipated completion date is 25/10/2026 06:00 (inclusive)
(Traffic Regulation Notices have a maximum duration of 5 consecutive days).
Access: Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for properties within the closed
section of the road where reasonably practicable.
Suggested Alternative Route: Diversion via Main Street, B4016, A4130, B4017, B4016 and vice versa.
